Ionian Blue and Venetian Stone
Two weeks on Corfu in the summer of 2021 — the Venetian fortresses and lighthouses of the old town, fishing boats heavy with nets in the harbour, and the island's green north falling away into Ionian blue. A cypress black against a burning sunset, a plane dropping low over the water. The greenest of the Greek islands, and the first I photographed.
